Situated on a robust reinforced concrete slab-on-grade foundation, this shelter is engineered for durability and stability. Notably, it incorporates a sophisticated solar panel system seamlessly integrated into its metal roof, a forward-thinking addition aimed at harnessing renewable energy to power various electrical components within the shelter, including power receptacles and LED lighting. This innovative PV system goes beyond mere self-sufficiency, as it is strategically designed to generate surplus energy, which is then redirected to the main building, effectively alleviating the electrical load of the North Bay bus garage.
